About the Indonesia eVOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) - Type B1

  • An Indonesia eVOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) is a type of visa that allows eligible travelers to enter Indonesia at select entry points by obtaining a visa in advance. You apply online before traveling, then show the approval when you arrive.

  • Purpose of Visit: Tourism, visit family or friends, attend business meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions, seminars, or transit in Indonesia to go to other countries.

Conduct field observations of offices, factories, places to produce goods, places to be invested and medical related activities.

  • Foreigners with a stay permit from a B1 visa are not allowed to sell goods or services or receive salary, wages, or compensation for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

  • Validity Period: The eVOA is single-entry valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. You must enter Indonesia within this 90-day window. If you don't enter within this period, the visa expires, and you'll need to reapply.

  • Duration of Stay: Upon entry, you're allowed to stay for 30 days. This can be extended once for an additional 30 days at an immigration office in Indonesia.

  • Entry Flexibility: You can enter Indonesia on any date within the 90-day validity period specified in your eVOA application. The "Valid Until" date on your eVOA indicates the last day you can enter the country.
