My China visa was just issued. However, my trip has been cancelled and I don't know when I will be traveling. Is there a certain timeframe I have to enter China by once my visa has been issued for it to remain active?

No, there is no specific deadline to enter China beyond the visa’s stated validity period. Once your visa is issued, you may enter China at any time before the expiration date printed on the visa, as long as the purpose of your visit remains the same.

Additionally, you may stay in China for the duration allowed by the visa’s “duration of stay,” which begins on the day you enter the country. Be sure to check both the “enter before” and “duration of stay” details on the visa to plan accordingly.
