I'm attending a conference/summit in Kenya; what type of eVisa is available?

If you're headed to Kenya for a conference or summit, the current system to obtain permission to enter the country is the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

You can choose "Conference" as the purpose of visit on the eTA application - the required documents are:


  • passport copy
  • photo
  • invitation letter from the summit/conference organizer in Kenya
  • flight itinerary
