I am attending a conference/seminar in India. Can I apply for a business eVisa?

No, you must apply for a eConference visa if attending a conference or seminar.


eConference Visas are issued for the following:


  • ATTEND A CONFERENCE/SEMINAR/WORKSHOP ORGANIZED BY A MINISTRY OR DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, STATE GOVERNMENTS

  • PRIVATE CONFERENCES ORGANIZED BY PRIVATE PERSONS/COMPANIES/ORGANIZATIONS.

For e-Conference Visa, the validity would be 30 days from the date of arrival in India with single entry
