What is Q-Code?

The Q-Code (Quarantine Information Advance Input System) is South Korea's digital health declaration platform managed by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). It facilitates a smoother entry process by allowing travelers to pre-submit their health information online and receive a QR code for expedited quarantine inspection upon arrival.

Who Needs to Submit a Q-Code?

As of June 2025, travelers entering South Korea from or transiting through certain regions are required to complete a Q-Code or submit a paper health declaration form. This includes individuals who have visited or transited through specific U.S. states designated as high-risk areas:

  • California
  • Colorado
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Pennsylvania
  • Washington
