Who Is Eligible for Global Entry?

Global Entry is available to:

  • U.S. citizens
  • U.S. lawful permanent residents

In addition, citizens of several other countries may also qualify for membership, often through partnerships with trusted traveler programs in their home countries. These include:

  • Netherlands – FLUX program participants
  • South Korea – Smart Entry Service members
  • Canada – NEXUS members (while they cannot apply directly for Global Entry, they can use its benefits)
  • Citizens of Argentina, Colombia, Germany, India, Mexico, Panama, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility requirements may vary slightly by country, so it’s a good idea to check with your local authorities or the U.S. CBP for the most up-to-date information.
