Passport Validity Requirements for a Saudi Arabia Visa

When you're applying for a visa to Saudi Arabia, there are a few important passport requirements to keep in mind. Making sure everything is in order ahead of time will help your application go smoothly.

1. Send Your Actual Passport (Not a Copy!)

You’ll need to send in your original, signed passport— the consulate requires the original passport.

2. Check Your Passport’s Expiration Date

Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months from the time you apply. If it’s set to expire in 6 months or less, the consulate won’t issue the visa.

3. Make Sure You Have Blank Visa Pages

Your passport needs to have blank pages labeled "Visa" pages for the visa to be placed on.

Pages marked “Amendment” at the back of your passport are not valid for visas and cannot be used.

💡If your passport doesn’t meet these requirements, we kindly recommend renewing it or obtaining a new one before continuing with your visa application.
