Saudi Arabia Visa Issued on a Loose-Leaf Document
When traveling to Saudi Arabia, it’s important to know that your visa won’t be placed directly in your passport, unlike in many other countries. Instead, Saudi Arabia issues visas on a separate sheet of paper, commonly referred to as a loose-leaf visa.
Your loose-leaf visa includes:
- Your photo
- Passport information
- The type of visa you’re traveling on, such as a business visa
It is your official authorization to enter Saudi Arabia and must be presented alongside your passport at the border.
Since the visa is not a stamp or sticker inside your passport, it's crucial to keep the document safe and secure. If it’s lost, your entry into the country could be delayed—or even denied—even if your passport is valid.
❗Keep a digital copy of the visa on your phone
❗Carry a printed backup in your hand luggage
