I urgently need to withdraw my Chinese visa application from the consulate. How can I do this?

You may submit a written request to the Chinese consulate to withdraw your application and retrieve your passport.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the consulate will release the passport on the same day the withdrawal request is submitted.

In some instances, the consulate may decline the withdrawal request. In such cases, you will need to wait until the application has been fully processed to receive your passport.
